James Earl Horn, 60, Key West and formerly of Sarasota, died Dec. 28, 2003. He was born Sept. 30, 1943, in Massachusetts and came to Sarasota in 1964 from Newton, Mass. He was a Navy veteran and had lived in Key West for the past 17 years. He was a Protestant. Survivors include a son, Rory of Sarasota; a brother, William of Sarasota; and a granddaughter. A celebration of life service was in Key West, where Dean-Lopez Funeral Home was in charge.
