Funeral services for James Cordis "JC" Ballard will be Friday at noon at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill Golden officiating. Private burial will be in Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until service time. Mr. Ballard went home to meet the Lord on Tuesday at his home. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Bishop Ballard; two step-children, Cary (Marie) Roberts and Johnita (Matt) Williams and three grandchildren, Chris, Andrew and Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents, Tony and Jewell Ballard. Pallbearers will be Cary Roberts, Chris Roberts, Gary Howie, Roy Roberts, Mike Bishop and Henry Ingram. Mr. Ballard loved to work on antique cars and enjoyed attending car shows. His special car was his 1946 Mercury. He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
