Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ward Temple A.M.E. Church, Bradenton. Interment will be in Adams-Fogartyville Cemetery. Survivors include a son, Johnny C. of Bradenton; daughters Johnyta L. Kelly and Kimberly E. Atkins, both of Bradenton; brothers Garfield Ellenwood and Bobby L. Ellenwood, both of New York, Edward L. Ellenwood of Palm Beach and Harry Hicks Jr. and Ralph Hicks, both of Palmetto; sisters Mahaley Calloway and Luerine Bennett, both of Palmetto; stepdaughters Katherine Frazier, Jeannette Anderson and Wanda Richardson, all of Bradenton; and stepsons Anthony Richardson of Sacramento, Calif., and Andrew Richardson of Sarasota; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 12 step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
