CARPENTER, James "Jim" Maurice1927 – Wawota, SK2013 – Calgary, ABJim Carpenter passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at the Rockyview Hospital in Calgary, AB at the age of 85 years. In his eighty-five years Jim nurtured a remarkable array of friendships through his achievements in business and community service. Jim will forever live in the hearts of his loving wife Myrna; daughter Shari (Bruce) Goodfellow; sons Edward and Barrie (Evelyn) Carpenter; six grandchildren, Ashlee, Keene, Brittni, Michael, Jenna and Kristin; brothers Roy (Maxine), Wayne (Michelle); sisters Joyce Arthur (Ken), Jeanette Oddy (Spunk) and sisters-in-law, Lorraine, Roberta, and Betty (Ron) Drumm; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his parents Merritt and Elizabeth; brothers, Joe, Carroll, Jerry, John, Amos, and Marvin; and sister Doreen. A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held at Sacred Heart Chapel in Kenosee Lake, SK on Friday, May 31, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. All family and friends are welcome.
