James Bryant Huff, 82, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at his home surrounded by his family.He was born on March 10, 1932, in Kingston and had been a lifelong resident of Roane County. He was a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church. James worked as a dozer operator for Vulcan Materials for over 36 years before retiring. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and participating in turkey shoots in his earlier years. He was also an avid gardener. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Pierce and Cora Bertha Keylon Huff; sisters, Ruth Huff and Dorsey Pratt; and brother, Elmer Huff.Survivors include his loving wife of 60 years, Dorothy Huff, Kingston; children, Gail Leach and husband Michael, Kingston, Teresa Welsh, Knoxville, James Huff, Easley, S.C., and Dawn Whaley and husband Scott, Kingston; three grandchildren, Shay Philllips and husband Billy, Knoxville, Fuller Welsh, Winchester, Va., and Tyler Bailey, Kingston; a host of extended family and friends.Family and friends met at 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 9, at Fraker Funeral Home, Kingston, to go in procession to Bethel-Fairview Cemetery for a 4 p.m. graveside service, with Pastor Rick Duncan officiating. Deanna Gail KelleyDeanna Gail Kelley, 70, of Rockwood, died Wednesday, April 9, 2014, in Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville.She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Kirby; and her husband, Bennie Kelley.Survivors include her mother, Hattie Myers Kirby; sons, Kendall Kelley, Wendall Kelley and Eric Kelley, all of Rockwood; and daughters, Cheryl Kelley and Karen Abston, both of Rockwood.Burial was at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 10, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Rockwood, with the Rev. David Harmon officiating. Evans Mortuary, Rockwood, is in charge of arrangements.
