ANDERSON, Jaimie Alexandra Williams November 6, 1986 – January 16 2010 Jaimie Anderson passed away peacefully, at dawn, on Saturday January 16, 2010 at her lifetime home, Pinecrest Farm near Merrickville, Ontario. Born twenty three years ago in Washington DC. Jaimie is well remembered for her grace and kindness and an endless sunny disposition by a vast "army of love": siblings Erin and Tyler, fiancé Jason White, parents Michelle and Rick, grandparents Edith, Jean Blair and Jim, a loving extended family of wonderful aunts, uncles and cousins. Many special friends from Merrickville Public School, St. Michael Catholic School, Concordia University, Pinecrest Farm, Parliament Hill and beyond. A life-sustaining well will be built in Africa in Jaimie's memory. Jaimie would be honoured by anyone choosing to follow in her own footsteps by participating in a local Cancer Society Relay for Life Thanks to the many heros who helped Jaimie's voyage these past sixteen months at the Merrickville & District Community Health Centre, McGill University Health Centre, Princess Margaret Hospital, Tom Baker Cancer Centre, Mayo Clinic Scottsdale, Roger's House and Ottawa's terrific palliative care network. Visitation will take place at Grant Brown Funeral Home, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville on Tuesday January 19 from 2 to 4pm and 7 – 9pm. Jaimie's Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday January 20 at 2:00 at Holy Trinity Angican Church, 105 Church Street Merrickville, followed by a reception.
