Jacqueline Rose-Monde Antler On February 18, 2008 Jacqueline Rose-Monde Antler died at Northview Nursing Home in Englehart. She had suffered from cancer for one year. She was born in Laverlochère, Québec, on July 14, 1938 to William Turgeon and Marie-Laure Généreux. Educated in Rouyn Noranda, Québec, she married Donald Antler there on May 11, 1959. Mrs. Antler was a homemaker who stayed at home to raise her four boys. She loved to go shopping, spend time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, gardening, fishing and hunting. Mrs. Antler was predeceased by her brother Aldemar Turgeon, loving husband Donald Antler and parents Marie-Laure and William Turgeon. She is survived by her siblings Laure-Mea (Jack) Huumo, Florence (Achil) Lafrance, Jean-Marc (Nicole) Turgeon, Laurent Turgeon, Jacques (Claire) Turgeon, Lucienne Turgeon, Perle (Adrien) Ouelette; children Donald Antler, Ronald (Marie) Antler, Ricky Antler, Terry (and Debbie) Antler; grandchildren Stephanie (Bryan) Léveillé, Vanessa Antler (and Robbie), Correen Antler (and Dustin), Christina and Jody Millis; great-grandchildren Emma Millis, Ethan Millis, Taylor Knowles, a great-grandchild expected in July, and Meagan Léveillé. The funeral was arranged by McDonald Funeral Home in Englehart. A graveside funeral service will be held in the spring in Englehart. Cremation has taken place. In memory contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
