Jacqueline Deason Walker, 88, of Bessemer, died Monday, June 2, 2003, in Chattanooga, Tenn.She was a member of Morgan United Methodist Church.Graveside services will be Thursday, June 5, at 1:30 p.m. at Valhalla Cemetery, with Brother Bo Lloyd officiating.Visitation will be 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home, Bessemer.Survivors include daughters, Mary Walker Blackwell and David, Chattanooga, Tenn., Anne Walker Quarles and Dr. L. Darryl Quarles, Durham, N.C.; son, Raymond Deason Walker and Kathy Vandermale Walker, Macon, Ga.; sister, Mary Helen Howton, Bessemer; niece, Georgianna Fischer and Marvin, Bessemer; grandchildren, Sara Ann Blackwell, Alan Blackwell and Cindy, both of Chattanooga, Tenn., Jackson Quarles, Durham, N.C., David Walker, Birmingham, Emily Walker, Memphis, Tenn., Leigh Quarles and Scott Quarles, both of Durham, N.C.Brown Service, Bessemer, is directing.
