Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 2 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Tim Harris officiating. Interment will follow in the Bellwood Cemetery with full military honors. The family will receive friends on Monday from 11 a.m. until service time. Mr. Jackson was born March 4, 1937 in Moorman, KY to the late Chattie Owen and Mae Skimmerhorn Jackson. He was a retired First Class Sergeant from the United States Army. He served three tours in Vietnam. Mr. Jackson was of the Baptist faith and he loved boating, sleeping, and hanging out at the Waffle House.He is survived by his wife: Frances J. Jackson of Clarksville, son and daughter-in-law: Ross and Maria Jackson of Clarksville, daughters and sons-in-law: Judy Lynn and Robert Heskett of Nashville, Jeannie Marie and Lee Walton of Salem, KY, brothers and sisters-in-law: Charles and Martha Redfern of Cedar Hill, Michael and Tina Redfern of Cedar Hill, sister and brother-in-law: Sandra and Jerry Suter of Springfield, five grandchildren, two great grandchildren. The family request that memorial contributions be made to Wounded Warriors Project and may be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home
