MORRIS, Jack (John) Salter. Passed away at the NHS General Site, St. Catharines on Tuesday, March 14, 2006, in his eighty-sixth year. Beloved husband of the late Olga Morris, (January 2006). Cherished father of Barbara Morris of St. John's, Newfoundland, the late John Morris (1973) and Stephen Morris of Mississauga. Loving grandfather of Colin Imrie and Tara (Jason) Rowe and great-grandfather of Abigail and Claire. Jack is predeceased by two brothers Arthur and Victor. Jack served overseas in WWII serving in the Canadian Army. He was an avid sailor and retired from Bell Canada after thirty-eight years of service. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jack's life will be held at the Niagara Street Chapel of the Butler Funeral Home, 424 Niagara Street, St. Catharines, on Saturday, March 18, 2006 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated by the family. Butler 905-646-6322.
