DAVIS, Jack P., 73, of Tampa, went home to be with the Lord November 9, 2007, where he was reunited with his son, Allen. He was born in Cedartown, Ga., and moved to Tampa in 1959. Jack was a U.S. Army veteran and was an insurance agent for 47 years. He was a faithful member of Causeway Baptist Church, where he served as a deacon. Jack was a beloved husband, father, Christian and friend. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Elfriede; children, Linda Ritchel (Tom), Jack, Gary (Charlotte) and Angela Najphor (Joseph); daughter-in-law, Karen; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, November 12, 2007, at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior.
