Jack Leroy Smith, 58, of 412 Willow Springs Drive, died Friday, April 12, 2002. He was the husband of Patricia Rader Smith and was born in Greenville County, a son of the late Jesse and Rosalee Landers Smith. Mr. Smith, a U.S. Navy veteran, was a member of Wrenn Memorial Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Michael B. Harvey of Piedmont; a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Sara Smith of Greenville; a son, Kevin L. Smith of the home; sisters, Sandra Celis of California and Louise Kirk of Greenville; brothers, Mike Smith of Simpsonville, Robert Smith of Greenville, Roy Medlin of Pelzer, and Troy Medlin of Greenville; a granddaughter, Bridgette Smith; and a grandson, Cameron Harvey. He was predeceased by a brother, William Medlin. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Wrenn Memorial Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.
