He was born in Clarksville, Virginia on June 5, 1930 and moved to Tallahassee, Florida in 1937. Jack graduated from Leon High School in 1948 and entered the U.S.Navy where he served his country until 1952. Jack dedicated 50+ years of public service with the State of Florida. He is survived by his three brothers Ernest M. Williams, Jr.; Lew D. Williams; and Don A. Williams; and one sister Bobbie Jean Williams, all of Tallahassee; his children, Linda O. Heiberger (Tallahassee); Michael A. Williams (Astor); and Julie Roberts (Tallahassee); five grandchildren and one great grandson. Jack's family and friends will gather privately to remember him and celebrate his life. The family requests memorial gifts be made in his name to the Big Bend Hospice or their favorite charity.
