Casey, Jack EdwardJune 28, 1935 - Mar. 14, 2013Jack Edward Casey, 77, of Venice, FL, formerly of Ridgewood, NJ passed away peacefully on March 14th at his home in Venice, FL. Jack was born in Lexington, KY. He graduated from Cathedral Academy in Indianapolis, IN and went on to obtain a BBS from Notre Dame University, the home of the Fighting Irish. Jack leaves behind the special people in his life including Joan, his wife of more than 49 years, son Sean Casey and his wife Laura, son Kevin Casey and his wife Meghan, daughter Christine McCarthy and her husband Patrick, and daughter Sharon Casey and her husband Todd, and his grandchildren John, Kelly, Morgan, Jackson, and McKenna. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Thursday, March 21st at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Venice, FL, with a celebration of Jack's life immediately following at Plantation Golf and Country Club. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Plantation Community Foundation, 500 Rockley Blvd., Venice, FL, 34293, 941-497-4826.
