RUTHERFORDTON, NC-- Jack Davis, 68, of 1246 W.V. Thompson Road, died Saturday, March 11, 2006, following a long illness.A native of Chesnee, SC, he was a son of the late Leslie Lafayette and Blance Owens Davis, and the husband of Rita V. Stuckey Davis. He was in the U.S. Air Force, and was a member of Broad River Baptist Church.He is survived by a brother, Joe Davis of Chesnee; and a sister, Jill OSheilds of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by one son, Jack F. Davis; and by a sister, Janet Lindsey.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. today, Monday, March 13, 2006, at Broad River Baptist Church, with Rev. Bryan Ezell officiating.
