JACK DAVIS ST.JOHN, IN Jack Davis, age 64, of St. John, formerly of Hammond, passed away Tuesday, October 7, 2008. He was the beloved husband of 38 years of Janice (nee Gratunik); loving father of Keith and Brian Davis; cherished grandfather of Brian Jack Davis; dearest brother of Sue (Howard) King, Betty (Louis) Partin, Billie (Pete) Messer, Loretta Broughton, Pauline (Roger) Fee and the late Doyle Davis. Also survived by sisters-in-law, brothers- in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a retired employee of Inland Steel and a member of St. John VFW Post 717 Men's Auxiliary. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 13, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. from the Elmwood Funeral Chapel, 11300 W. 97th Lane (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th Street), St. John, IN to St. John the Evangelist Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment private.
