MILES, JULIA RUTH Julia Ruth Miles, of Fruitland Park, FL (formerly of Gainesville, FL) passed away at her home on Sunday October 10, 2010. Ruth was born in Jacksonville, FL on June 4, 1925. She lived most of her life in Gainesville and retired from the First Union Bank. She was an active member of St Patrick Catholic Church and enjoyed reading. She loved her church and her family. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Edgar Miles, and she is survived by her brother Tom (Vivianne) Miles of West Park, FL, her two nephews Michael (Susan) Miles and Donald (Hanna) Miles, and her grand nephew Michael Miles, II, and her cousin Margie Morgan. She is also survived by her beloved friend Mary Brown and her lifelong friends, the Robert Bowman family. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Evergreen Cemetery 401 NE 21st Avenue Gainesville, FL.
