JUDITH A. WILLIAMS - VERGENNES - Judith A. Williams, 72, of Vergennes, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, after a courageous battle, surrounded by the family she loved so much. Judy was born on Oct. 24, 1940, in Burlington, the daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth (Buxton) Maynard. She was a graduate of Burlington High School. Judy was married in South Burlington on March 14, 1981, to Shane M. Williams. Judy had a long career as a buyer with Digital Equipment Corporation. Judy had a passion for painting and found great joy in gardening, but her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. Judy is survived by her husband of 31 years, Shane M. Williams; five children, Donald and Debra Morin, Gary Morin, Wendy Haskell and her partner, Michael Twombly, Nicole and Kevin Loiselle and Jennifer and Angelo Pasquale; 12 grandchildren, Gary and Tannika Morin, Nicholas Morin and fiancée, Amanda Michaud, Nathan Morin, Lyndsey Morin, Eddie Haskell, Zachary Morin, Arianna Pasquale, her angel baby, Myranda Loiselle, and her two grandsons to be, Grayson Pasquale and Ryder Loiselle; sisters, Jean Blais, Kathy and John Coolidge and Sharon and Wayne Racine; her brother, Paul and Joanne Maynard; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Albert (Skip) and Dawn Williams, Michael and Carol Williams, Bonnie and Dale Brace, Jennifer and Fay Bovat and Pamela and Kevin Young; many special nieces and nephews; and extended family, Betty and Gary Shepard, June and John LeCompte and Steve and Kim Robtoy. Judy was predeceased by her mother and father, Elizabeth and Joseph Maynard; her sister and husband, Joan and Bob Brown; and her nephew, Adam Maynard. A celebration of Judy's life will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2013, at 12 noon at Ready Funeral Home (Mountain View Chapel). Interment will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service in the Ready Funeral and Cremation Service, Mountain View Chapel, 68 Pinecrest Dr. in Essex Junction.
