Joseph William Marino passed away on July 12, 2002 at his home in Lawrenceville, GA. He was 29 years old. Joe was born on December 16, 1972 at United Hospital in Port Chester, NY, to Dominick J. Marino and Ann Marie Sabia Marino. He attended public school in Port Chester, graduating with honors from Port Chester High School in 1990. Joe began studies at Georgia Tech in the fall of 1990, with intentions of becoming an architect. He later changed his major, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering in December of 1995. After graduating from Georgia Tech, Joe remained in Georgia to pursue his career in engineering. He was employed as a Project Manager by National Filtration Systems in Norcross, GA, reporting directly to the CEO of the company. Although Joe lived in Georgia, he was always near in our hearts, and his family is very proud of his success and accomplishments. In addition to his parents, Joe is survived by his brother William Louis Marino of New Fairfield, CT, his aunt and uncle Angela and Orazio Papalia and their daughters Nadia and Francesca of Port Chester, his aunt and uncle Grace and Joe Fama of Port Chester, his aunt and uncle Frances and Lawrence W. Berlinski and their children Lawrence, Jennie, and Matthew of Linden, NJ, his aunt and uncle, Elke and Nicholas J. Sabia of Silver Spring, MD, and his uncle Robert Englert and his son Jason of Mamaroneck, NY. Joe was predeceased by his grandparents Giuseppe and Francesca Marino, and Vito and Frances Sabia, his uncle Rocco Marino, and his aunt Catherine Englert. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-8 pm at James J. Gunipero Funeral Home, Inc. The Funeral is Thursday at Corpus Christi Church, 10 am. Entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Rye Brook, NY.
