BEAL, Joseph E., a resident of Tallas-see, died April 5, 2005, in a Mont-gomery hospital. Mr. Beal was the son of Earl J. and Leora Beal. He was a native of Cumberland, Mary-land. Mr. Beal was a fighter pilot in World War II and he also served as a transport pilot during the Vietnam Conflict. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2005 at 11:00 am from Union Springs Perpet-ual Care Cemetery with Rev. Tom Bridges officiating. He was pre-ceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Harold Beal, and Ronald Beal: wife Jewel Beal; son, David Beal. He is survived by a daughter, Sandra Till of Montgomery; grand-son, Cope Till of Montgomery; nephew, Billy (Laura) Hightower of McCalla, AL; four sisters, Julia Bee-man of Ashtabula, Ohio, Pat Beal of Cumberland, MD, Margie (Robert) Crites of Cumberland, MD, Norman (Leon) Phillips of Ashtabula, Ohio; sister-in-law, Joyce (Jules) Tompkins of Fitzpatrick, AL; several nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; two great great nieces. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until service time on Satur-day.
