ANDERSON, JOHNNY RAY, 57, of Groveland, FL, died Saturday, Jan. 17, 2004 in Clermont, FL. Born in Flatrock, AL he moved to Groveland in 1968. He was a member of Praise Temple Church of God in Groveland and worked as a welder. He enjoyed team roping, coon and rabbit hunting, was an old fashioned horse trader, and loved his family and the Lord. He is survived by, wife, LaVerne Anderson of Groveland, FL; sons and wives, Roger and Kim Anderson of Leesburg, FL, Paul and Tina Anderson of Mayo, FL, Chad and Shannon Anderson of Mascotte, FL; brother and wife Jimmy and Pat Anderson of Groveland, FL; sisters and husbands, Jo Anne and Jim Lewis of Monteagle, TN, Linda and Don Lyon, of Groveland, FL, Shirley and Harwood Padgett of Mascotte, FL, Janice and Reggie Padgett of Groveland, FL, Donna and Barry Cummings of Clermont, FL; brother-in-law, Dwight Isaacs of Groveland, FL; 10 grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Services for Mr. Anderson will be held Tuesday, Jan. 20 in the Praise Temple Church of God at 10AM with Pastor Clayton Langley officiating. Interment is to follow in the Mascotte Cemetery. Friends may call at the Kurfiss Funeral Home Chapel Monday, Jan. 19 from 6-8PM.
