DAVIS, JOHNNIE FERRELL Age 76, of Vandiver, AL went home to be with the Lord Dec. 24, 2012. He retired from M&B Metals and worked as a truck driver most of his life. Johnnie enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and riding motorcycles. He was preceded in death by his parents Sidney and Mary Davis, son Ricky Davis, and two daughters Regina Cowles and Gerri Thomas. He is survived by wife Betty Davis, brother Gene Davis (Mary) and children Angela Walker (Shannon), Kathy Brasher and Jay (Stephanie) Goodwin. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Services will be held at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Vandiver Wednesday, Jan. 2 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
