He was born January 9, 1922, in Jersey City, NJ, to Joseph and Anna (Wzienczkowska) Mizeski. He is a US Army WWII veteran.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Loretta Carter; two infant sons; his brother Bill; and a sister Jean.He is survived by his son Bob Carter and wife Beth of Rogersville, MO; three grandchildren: Allison Twist and husband Erik of Scottsdale, AZ, Jessica Connolly and husband Doug of Austin, TX, and Amy Highfill of North Hollywood, CA; six great grandchildren: Carter, Mason, Andrew, Cooper, Eliot, and Miriam; one sister Barbara Spidella of NM; his companion Maxine David of Springfield, MO; as well as other dear relatives and friends.A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM, Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Greenlawn Funeral Home East. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Hazelwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 6:00 PM before the service. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to The Kitchen.
