HENDERSON, John Lewis, 62, a resident of Eclectic, AL, died at home on Thursday, February 21, 2002, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 24, 2002, at 2:00 p.m., from The Stoney Point Church of Christ, with Minister Gordon McWhorter and Minister Dave Burns officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mr. Henderson was a Veteran of the United States Army. He later retired from Purina Ralston after 42 years of service in the food industry. He is survived by his beloved spouse of 34 years, Linda Berry Henderson; one daughter and son-in-law, Angie and Jimmy Henderson, all of Eclectic, AL; two grandchildren, Nikki Seamon and Stacey 'Scobbie' Seamon; his mother, Annie Henderson, Elmore, AL; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lonie and Pat Henderson, Oklahoma City, OK, and Owen and Louise Henderson, Elmore, AL. Active pallbearers will be Jack Pannell, Charles Price, Karl Tule, Johnny Adams, Buggs Wingard, Melvin Baker, Larry Wise, Jim Davis, Roy Garnett, Dan Henderson and Jimmy Henderson. Honorary pallbearers will be friends, co-workers, and football buddies from the Holtville High School Class of 1957. Visitation will be held at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Saturday evening from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. The body of Mr. Henderson will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to service time.
