COOLEY, JOHN "J. C." age 70 of Adger passed away June 7, 2013. He was a member of New Hope Independent Church where he served as a deacon, and also served on the board at Adger Cemetery. J.C. was known in the community by helping all those in need. He was loving and caring and he will be greatly missed by his family and all who knew him. Preceded in death by his first wife, Sue Cooley; his parents, Jim and Lucy Cooley; brothers, James and Ronnie Cooley; sisters, Bessie and Ollie Mae; grandson, Tristen Sudduth. Left to cherish his memories is his wife Wilma Jean; children, Robin Cooley (LaRhonda), James "Dusty" Cooley and Ginger Schneider (Walter); eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren; brother, Al Cooley; sister, Johnnie Surratt. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 5 - 7 PM at Peoples Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral service will Wednesday 10 AM at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Adger Cemetery.
