JOHNSON, Mrs. Joan PatriciaGraff a resident of Millbrook,AL, died peacefully at herresidence surrounded by herfamily on Friday May 21,2010. She is survived by herhusband of 46 years, JohnLarry Johnson of Millbrook,AL, two daughters, Andrea(Jeff) Jones, Jamie (Scott)Emerson of Emerald Mountain, five granddaughters,Anna Katherine Jones, LauraRuth Jones, Mary ElizabethEmerson, Laura John Emerson, and Madeline VirginiaEmerson all of Emerald Mountain, mother Mrs. Mamie BeeGraff of Millbrook, AL, two sisters, Jane (Billy) Brooks of Millbrook, AL, and Judy Mitchellof Palcencia, Belize. She waspreceded in death by her father James Edwin Graff. Mrs.Johnson earned her BA degree from Huntingdon College and a MA degree fromAuburn University at Montgomery. She was a dedicated and revered teacherby her students within ElmoreCounty Public Schools for 27years. Memorial services willbe conducted by the Rev.Mark E. Waldo, Jr. at the Episcopal Church of the Ascension, 315 Clanton Ave. Montgomery, AL on Tuesday May25, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at a reception immediately following the service in the Ascension Hall.
