Jeanette M. DuBois of Stony Point died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, March 16, 2003. Mrs. DuBois was born in Grassy Point on November 11, 1916 to William H. and Mary Cecelia (Boyle) Garrison. A homemaker, Mrs. DuBois was a member of the original Mothers Club of Immaculate Conception School, a member of the Altar Society of Immaculate Conception Church, a member of the Catholic Daughters, and the Stony Point Senior Citizens Club. She lived in Stony Point for 70 years, moving to Florida for 12 years, and returning to Stony Point in 1999. Mrs. DuBois was predeceased by her husband Joseph A. DuBois, Sr., and was the last of a family of 11 children. She is survived by her daughters, Ann V. Panzarino of Crawfordville, FL, and Mary Jane Bradshaw of Stony Point, and her son Joseph A., Jr. of Lincolnwood, IL, 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, March 18 and Wednesday, March 19, 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Edward C. Finn Funeral Home, 43 East Main Street, Stony Point, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, March 20, 2003 at 10am in Immaculate Conception Church, John Street, Stony Point, NY. Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Haverstraw.
