JEAN ELIZABETH HENDERSON Passed away peacefully on July 2, 2012 in her 93rd year, with family at her side at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late Lt. Colonel Robert Henderson and sister-in-law of the late Robert N. Henderson. Forever missed by her loving sister and best friend, Marie Henderson, nephew Robert Henderson (Heather Howe), niece Susan Whiteside (Jud) and their children, Courtney (Darren), Jud (Kristina), cousin Dorothy Greenlaw and longtime friend Audrey Hope. Jean and Marie grew up on a farm in the heart of Unionville before moving to Toronto. Later Jean and the Colonel lived in Ottawa for 20 years and upon her return to Toronto, worked for many years at the Inn on the Park. Jean will be fondly remembered for her humour and caring ways. Family and friends will cherish good memories of times together, especially in Bobcaygeon and Rousseau. The family would like to thank her caregiver Eve Some and Dr. Le and the caring staff on 3C at Markham Stouffville Hospital. Donations, if desired, to Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation. A private family service will be held. Arrangements entrusted to the DIXON-GARLAND FUNERAL HOME.
