<br/> <br/>JASON MICHAEL <br/>SMITH --> JASON MICHAEL SMITH, 39 WINTER HAVEN - Jason Michael Smith, age 39, passed away Monday, January 19, 2015, peacefully in his sleep. Born at Winter Haven Hospital on July 21, 1975, Jason was raised here in Winter Haven and Auburndale. He graduated Winter Haven High School in 1994. He enjoyed watching football and Nascar; camping, fishing, traveling and spending time around the bonfire drinking beer with the family. Jason touched many lives with his caring ways. He had a special place in his heart for everyone and loved the time he spent with his family and friends. Jason is survived by his wife Danielle Smith. They where united in marriage on September 24, 2011, on the beach in Amelia Island, Florida. He is also survived by his puppy Talladega, parents Glen Smith and Melba Harris of Winter Haven, Florida; father and mother-in-law Charles and Lynne Atkins of Winter Haven, FL; brothers Dale Smith of Tallahassee and Justin Harris of Fayetteville, NC; sisters Deborah Smith (Harold) of York, PA, and Angelina Carver (Kevin) of Winter Haven, Fl; brother & sister-in-law Ryan and Meagan Atkins of Winter Haven, FL; four nieces, seven nephews and three great nephews, many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason was preceded in death by his grandparents Bob Stafford, Henry and Helen Best of Winter Haven, Jack and Myrtle Gatlin of Auburndale, FL. Private services were held Friday, January 23, 2015, at Eastside Assembly of God of Winter Haven, Florida, officiated by Rev. Joel Johnson. Jason has requested his remains be taken to Gatlinburg, TN, and Jupiter Beach, FL. Jason, our beloved will be in our hearts until we meet again.
