BROWN, JANET, 70Ocala - Janet Brown, 70, of Ocala, passed away June 11, 2014. She was born on Staten Island, NY and came to this area in 1979. Mrs. Brown was a retired hotel receptionist, professional horsewoman and animal rescuer. She was Lutheran by faith. She is survived by her son, Thomas Brown, His wife Everil and their children, Thomas Howard, Jr, Trinity, Autumn Alexis and William Stanley Scott Brown all of Miramar, FL; sister, Jinnie Ericksen of Staten Island, NY / Ocala; nephews, Richard Ericksen, Jr. and Scott Thomas Ericksen both of Staten Island, NY; life long friend, Richard Baris of Ocala. She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard. A Celebration of Janet's Life will be held at ROBERTS FUNERAL HOMES, Downtown Chapel (606 SW 2nd Ave, Ocala, 622-4141) on Saturday (June 14th) at 3PM.
