Burial will follow inGreenwood Cemetery withGassett Funeral Home of Wetumpka directing. Pastor Starrserved his country for 27 +years during the Vietnam andKorean war. He was pastor ofseveral churches during hisministry. Pastor Starr is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Inez Starr andone brother, Dennis Starr. Heis survived by his wife, HellonBrown Starr, two brothers,Wayne (& wife Evelyn) Starr,Kenneth David (& wife Betty)Starr, one sister, Joann Landrum, a number of nieces andnephews. Active pallbearerswill be William Flowers, JohnRogers, David Landrum Jr.,Gerald Starr, Don Hart, andWilliam Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Aikman and the deacons ofHighland Gardens BaptistChurch.
