CHARLEBOIS, J. Rolland Peacefully at the Centre d'Accueil Champlain, Ottawa on Thursday, February 19, 2009 at the age of 89 years. Loving husband of Lucienne (nee Brisebois) and dearest father of the late Marie, Nicole James (Lee) and Lorraine Charlebois. Proud grandfather of Kevin James (Joanna) of Taiwan, Carolyn James-Fraser (Robert Fraser), Chantal Leduc (Marc Fitzsimmons) and Roch Leduc and great grandfather of Natalie. Survived by his brothers Jean-Jacques, Herve, Urbain and Rene. Predeceased by his sisters Eva Desjardins and Cecile Desjardins and his brothers Leon and Hubert. Rolland was a member of the Order of Jacques Cartier, secretary for "Ligue du Sacre-Coeur", Church warden at Notre-Dame de Lourdes, Vanier, co-founder and first president of Caisse Populaire Montfort, co-owner of Bellevue Mobile Home Park. Friends are invited to visit at the St-Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway, on Sunday, February 22nd, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Notre-Dame de Lourdes, Vanier, 435 Montreal Road on Monday, February 23rd at 10:30 a.m. Interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Orleans.
