Mrs. Ivey Mae Mikell Smith - SAVANNAH - Mrs. Ivey Mae Mikell Smith, 82 entered into her eternal transition, Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Candler General Hospital. A native of Ellabell, GA, she attended the public school of Bryan County and retired from Chatham Floral Nursery. She was a member of Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Pembroke, GA, and later joined the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church of Ellabell, GA. After moving to Savannah, she joined the Believers in the Word Full Gospel Ministry. Her husband, Clarence Smith, Sr., her parents Pearlie and Lucy Mikell, preceded her in death. Survivors: ten children: James Franklin Smith, Floyd Smith, Clarence (Margaret) Smith, all of Claxton, GA, Randolph (Gloria) Smith, Ramer Lee (Deborah) Smith, all of Savannah, John Wesley (Virginia) Smith of Kinston, NC, Samuel A. (Sandra) Smith of Pooler, GA, Violet Mae Smith of Savannah, Doreatha (James) Smith-Moore of Ellabell, GA and Elizabeth Smith of Pembroke, GA; stepdaughter, Genella (Joe) Jenkins of Ellabell, GA; sister, Geraldine Green, brother, Jesse (Elise) Mikell both of Savannah; daughter-in-law; four sisters- in-law; brother-in-law; thirty-eight grands, thirty- eight great-grands, one great-great-grand; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
