MUGRIDGE-CLARK _ Isabella Sarah Isabella Sarah Mugridge-Clark passed away on May 8, 2006 at 84 years of age. Isabella (Bella) Hazlett, was born in Red Deer, Alta., on September 4, 1921. Bella was the second of four sisters and is survived by Barbara Hamilton of Red Deer, Alta., Pat Maxon of Dawson Creek, BC. Bella spent her early years in Red Deer. She met and married Bill Mugridge in 1940, and following World War II, they settled and farmed in Condor, Alta. In 1961 Bill and Bella sold the farm and in 1962 they bought an orchard in Naramata, BC. They both loved the Okanagan Valley and those years on the orchard were good to them. In 1983, after forty-three happy years of marriage, Bill passed away. Bella was also predeceased by her sister, Matilda (Mattie) Downer of New Zealand, and two daughters-in-law, Yvonne and Irmgard. In 1985 Bella met John (Jack) Clark, and in 1989 they were married. Bella and Jack spent their retirement years traveling, but made the Okanagan Valley their home. Jack predeceased Bella in 2002. Bella spent her final years at the Westside Care Facility in Westbank, BC. Her family is grateful for the loving care and respect she received at this facility. Bella will be lovingly remembered by her four sons and daughters-in-law, Tom and Samantha-Jane (Calgary, Alta.), Dick and Theresa (Calgary, Alta.), Dan and Frances (Summerland, BC/Drayton Valley, Alta.), Jerry and Susan (Westbank, BC), her eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, family and friends. A Celebration Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 1:00 p.m. at HANSONS' ARBOR FUNERAL CHAPEL, 527 Ellis Street, Penticton, BC, officiated by Pastor Rick Gay.
