-> Mr. Irwin Sewell Anderson, 71, died Wednesday at the Hospice House in Savannah. He was a native of Bulloch County but had lived in Guyton for the past eight years. He was retired from Stone Container after 40 years of service and was most recently the Supervisor at Effingham County Landfill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sewell and Frances Anderson. Surviving are his wife, Willa Dean White Anderson of Guyton; two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanine and John Slater of North Pole, Alaska and Peggy and Woody Dunn of Charlotte, N.C.; one sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Griffin Yarbrough of Bulloch County; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Don Anderson of Interlacken, Fla. and Lavone and Elizabeth Anderson of Brooklet; six grandchildren, Wesley Slater, Christy Slater, Shawna Slater, all of Alaska, and Jason Hinely, Julie Weaver, and Laura Dunn, all of Charlotte, N.C.; eleven great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: from 5:00- 8:00 p.m., Friday at Hodges-Turner- Anderson Funeral Home. Funeral services: 2:00 p.m., Saturday in the Chapel of Hodges-Turner-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Bailey and Elder Lavone Anderson officiating. Burial: Bulloch Memorial Gardens.
