Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, July 31, 2011, in Wards Funeral Home Chapel for Irene Stevens Holman, of Gainesville. The Rev. Les Fuller and the Rev. Steve Baker will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Holman passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011, following a sudden illness.Mrs. Holman was a lifelong resident of Hall County and was the daughter of Hubert and Nell Hudson Stevens. Mrs. Holman along with her husband Clyde, owned and operated Holman TV and Appliance. She also worked for Classic Tall & Big Mens Shop, Millners Ladies Store and was employed at Burton's Department Store. She was a member of Mount Zion No. 2 Baptist Church in Lumpkin County. She was preceded in death by her husband the Rev.
