DAVIS, IRENE SPRADLING, 57, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was an employee of the Census Bureau and a member of Holy Name Catholic Church. Preceding her in death were her parents, Wallace H. and Mary Sarah Spradling. Survivors include her husband, Dale W. Davis; a son, Nicholas E. Mattingly; a brother, Wallace H. Spradling; many cousins; and a good friend, Betty Caudill. A Memorial Mass will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Holy Name Catholic Church, 2914 South Third Street. There will be no visitation prior to the Memorial Mass. Ratterman & Sons 3800 Bardstown Road entrusted with the arrangements. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill or Center for Women and Families.
