->Irene Louise(Rennie) SmithGAINESVILLE, FL - Irene Louise (Rennie) Smith, 79, of Gainesville, Florida, passed away on Feb. 1, 2012. A 30 year resident of Florida, Rennie formerly lived in Poughkeepsie, NY for many years.Born on January 29, 1933, in the Bronx, she was the daughter of the late August and Viola Eastman Semon.Rennie married Richard C. Smith on October 1, 1951 in Towanda, PA. Together they had 6 children: Matthew K. Smith (Linda) of New Paltz, NY, Teresa G. Smith (Steve) of Bluemont, VA, Victoria S. Wheeler of Ancramdale, NY, Pamela H. Bickford (Cameron) of Richmond, VA, Richard W. Smith (Diane) of Midlothian, VA and Daniel J. Smith of Rifton, NY.Rennie is survived by her children, her brother, Warren Lloyd Semon, and 10 grandchildren: Kristen Wheeler (Peter), Allan Daniel Wheeler, Heather Bickford, Cameron Bickford, Leland Bickford, Jonathan Smith (Emily), Christina Smith, Nicholas Smith, Shelbey Smith, and Patrick Smith. She also had one great-grandchild, Kerry Claire Murphy.Rennie was predeceased by her sister, Pauline Virginia Semon.A private memorial service will be held in the summer.
