Irene Davis, 92, of Sheffield, died Sunday, Oct. 9, 2011. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Chad Holder officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.Mrs. Davis was a lifelong resident of Sheffield and was a member of First Baptist Church of Sheffield for more than 60 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Clyde Davis, and son, Alan Davis.She is survived by her daughter, Joan, and son-in-law, Eddie Crumbley, of Montgomery, and granddaughters, Paige and Beth.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Sheffield, 301 N.
