GOSSELIN Irene Bilodeau Gosselin, 88, of Jacksonville Beach, Florida went to the Lord January 15, 2012. She was born in Lewiston, Maine where she resided until 2005. Irene and her husband Romeo owned and operated Gosselins Rug Cleaning in Lewiston until retiring in 1992. She previously worked at Bates Mill where she earned a gold pin for over 20 years of service. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Ladies of St. Anne Rosary Sodality. She was also a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Parish in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida where last spring she attended the Christ Renews His Parish retreat. Irene enjoyed traveling with family and working in her beautiful flower garden. Irene is survived by her loving daughters Theresa Alfama (Anthony), Joline Bidwell (Brian) and Diane Lacasse (Raymond); 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents Samuel & Alice Bilodeau; beloved husband Romeo A. Gosselin, sisters Yvette St. Laurent; Margaret Cote; Cecile St. Pierre and her brother Roger Bilodeau. Mass will be held at Holy Family Parish, Lewiston, Maine, Saturday February 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM followed by internment at St. Peters Cemetery.
