March 29, 1941 – Jan. 22, 2010. Cissie was born a coal miner's daughter in West Virginia, she was the second oldest of nine children. After the death of her father she was raised by her mom, Doris, and her beloved stepfather, Bill Farmer. As a single parent she raised her three daughters, Robin, Beth and Rona; and her only son, Adrian "AJ."Cissie married her soul mate, Bill Parker, 28 years ago. He cherished her so much and treated her with such love and compassion. Bill was the love of her life and she cherished him as much. She was blessed to have 11 wonderful grandchildren, who in turn gave her seven wonderful great-grandchildren.A memorial service was held at her and Bill's home in Bartow, Fla. Many family members drove for hours and miles to make it to her bedside in time to say goodbye and I love you. She was so loved and respected by those whose lives she touched. She left this world for the best family reunion in Heaven.
