-> Richmond Hill - Ida Parker Smith, 85, died Saturday, November 6, 2004 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a native of Liberty County and lived in Richmond Hill for the past 60 years. She was a member of Bryan Neck Presbyterian Church. She worked in the Richmond Hill School lunch room that Henry Ford built. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry A. Smith, Sr. and Henry A. Smith, Jr. Survivors: daughter-in-law, Sue Smith of Savannah; grandchildren, Christy Tripp of Richmond Hill, Jimmy Smith of Savannah and Suzette Holloway of Laurinburg, NC; sisters, Marie Rodgers of Blairsville, GA and Frances Bresnahan of Las Vegas; brother, R. L. Parker of Hendersonville, NC; five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel Tuesday, November 9, 2004 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
