Ida Mae Williams CHATTAHOOCHEE - Ida Mae Williams, 85, who retired as a supervisor at Florida State Hospital, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, in Tallahassee. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST Monday at Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Chattahoochee, with burial at UBA Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. EST Sunday at the church.Madry Memorial Funeral Chapel in Quincy (850-875-2665) is handling arrangements. She was a native of Decatur County, Ga., and a lifelong resident of Chattahoochee. She was a member of Greater Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and active in Sunday school and the home missions. She also was very active in the community with the senior citizens and the Helping, Caring and Sharing Club.She was the secretary for the Burial Aid Association. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Christell Lewis Williams; a nephew, Harry L. Williams Jr. (and wife Lucille); five nieces, Emma S. Griffin, Carolyn F. Crawford, Cynthia McBride, Loubennie A. Williams and Harriet N. Williams (and husband Dallas); and a host a great-nieces, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.
