COHOES, NY -- Ida M. Chevalier, 88, formerly of Columbia Street Extension, Cohoes at Villa Mary Immaculate Nursing Home, Albany, Tuesday, April 12, 2005 after a long illness. She was born in Canada and raised in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late David and Ida Laroche Richard. She owned and operated the RC Motel on Route 9, Latham for many years. She was a communicant of the former St. Marie's Church, now Holy Trinity Parish. She was the wife of the late Edmund G. Chevalier. She is survived by her daughter, Constance Buckley of Cohoes and three sons, John Chevalier of Niskayuna, Marcel Chevalier and Richard Chevalier of Cohoes; sister of Cecile Gregoire of Cohoes. Also survived by nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Friday 9:00 a.m. from the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes and 9:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Parish where where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated.
