Assignment ForemanLAKELAND -- Mrs. Ida Glenn Johnson of Lakeland died of cancer Wednesday (June 29, 2005) at Good Shepherd Hospice. She was 75.Born in Locust Grove, Va., on Dec. 25, 1929, she came to Lakeland from Miami 16 years ago. She was a retired assignment foreman for BellSouth of 35 years.Mrs. Johnson is survived by her husband, Jerry Johnson; daughter, Donna Klerk, Las Vegas; sons, Brad Johnson, Miami, Greg Glenn, Houston; brothers, Melvin Herndon, Locust Grove, Va., Tal Herndon, Fort Lauderdale; sister, Ruth Hall, Hollywood, Fla.; six grandchildren.Memorial services will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lighthouse for the Blind or Good Shepherd Hospice.
