HOOSICK FALLS, N.Y. - Ida Jane Adams Hall, 86, died May 26, 2010, at Danforth Adult Care Center in Hoosick Falls.She was born in Greenwich June 8, 1923, the daughter of William Alvin Adams and Ethel Ida (Cook). She graduated from Hoosick Falls High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College where she learned to fix commercial sewing machines and prepare income taxes. She owned the Shell station in Shaftsbury, Vt., with her first husband, Damasse "Cy" LaFlamme, worked as a real estate agent, was employed by Thomson Mill in Bennington, Vt., and retired from Tansitor Electronics.She married William N. "Stub" Hall Sept. 1, 1958.Mrs. Hall volunteered at Harvest Soup Kitchen, PAVE, Bennington Museum in the genealogical department, and Harvest Prison Ministry.Survivors include her husband of Easton; four sons, Joseph LaFlamme of Pittsfield, Mass., Chris and L. Rodney LaFlamme, both of Eagle Bridge, and Charles "Hap" Hall of Cambridge; three daughters, Mary Gratz of Shaftsbury, Antoinette "Toni" Vogt of Hoosick Falls and Susan Blocker of Salem; a brother, Charles Adams of Hudson Falls, and a sister, Helen LeBarron of North Carolina; over 20 grandchildren, over 30 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Lewis Adams.The memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 5, at First Baptist Church, 648 South St. in Hoosick with Pastor Dale E. Hall officiating.
