BRYANT, Mrs. Irma Irene, 87, a resident of Montgomery, AL, died Saturday, January 5, 2002 in Montgomery, AL. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 7, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. from Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Winston Brooks officiating. Interment will follow in Samaria Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Bobbie Jean Smith, Pikeville, TN, Ms. Betty Jo Whatley, Montgomery, AL and Ms. Emily Bryant Peek, Montgomery, AL; one brother, Mr. Roland Hines, Birmingham, AL; three sisters, Mrs. Nina Nelson, Prattville, AL, Mrs. Opal Jones, Clanton, AL and Mrs. Gladys Price, Columbus, GA; seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gaither Bryant. Visitation will be held Sunday, January 6, 2002 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
