JACKSON, Ms. Ida Mae, (Sweet Child), age 93; of Mont-gomery, departed this life on Sunday, June 25, 2006. Home going services will be held Sat-urday, July 1, 2006; 11:00 a.m. from The Old Elam Missionary Baptist Church, with Rev. John Gilchrist, Jr., officiating. Burial in the Old Elam Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The body will lie-in-state one hour before the service. Sweet Child leaves to cherish her memory: two devoted chil-dren, Latisha (Hoston) Houston and Jimmy Jackson, Mont-gomery, Alabama. Daughter in-law, Julia P. Jackson. Also cherishing her memory are twenty-two grandchildren; two very devoted, Cynthia Ann Jackson and Charles D. Jack-son. She also has fifteen great grandchildren. Sweet Child has a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A special niece, Mrs. Eliza (Robert) Wells, Sr.; Dear's Special Friends include Hilda Preister, Ida R. Walker, Carrie J. Harris, Jay Tidwell, Minister Mi-ch'l Williams and Mother Margaret McNeil. Ida Mae's life and legacy will be remem-bered by many. Special Thanks to Dr. Jefferson Underwood III, Dr. W. Pinchback and the Southern Care Hospice team.
