LEE, IDA B. Mrs. Ida Bell Lee of Old Town, Florida, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the Tri County Nursing Home. She was 92. Mrs. Lee was first and foremost a homemaker and a mother. During the 1950's, she cooked for Chris Anderson at Chris' Restaurant in Fanning Springs for 6 or 7 years. She was a former scout leader for the Brownies and Girl Scouts and enjoyed decorating for Christmas, shelling peas, cake decorating and flower arranging. She was a member of the Old Town First Baptist Church where she was a Sunday School teacher and a member and officer with WMU. She taught GA's and served for awhile as the church clerk. She is survived by sons, Henry (Gail) Lee of Lake Helen, FL and Robert Wayne Lee of Old Town, FL; daughters, Beatrice Barry of Old Town, Christine Parsells of Newberry, FL and Mary (Jerry) Saylor of Old Town, FL; 15 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 27 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Lonzie Lee, granddaughter Carol Johnson, grandson, Buddy Parsells and granddaughter Trisha Parsells. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Old Town First Baptist Church with Rev. Royce Hanshew and Rev. David Downing officiating. Interment will follow at Old Town Cemetery. A visitation will be held Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the funeral home between the hours of 6 and 8 PM. Arrangements have been placed under the direction of Rick Gooding Funeral Home, Cross City, Florida, 352-498-5400.
