"Sonny" Age 87, of the City of Tonawanda, November 25, 2013, beloved husband and inseparable best friend for over 63 years of Gloria (nee Mathews) Morrow; devoted father to Bob (Carolyn) Morrow, Lynn (Terry) Smith, Nancy (Greg) Schenk and Paul (Janet) Morrow; bestest grandfather of Jennifer (Jay) Topick, Paul Morrow, Shannon Smith, Josh Morrow, Martin Schenk, Holly Schenk, Cody Morrow and Emily Morrow; greatest great-grandfather of Hannah Morrow and Addie Topick; son of the late Royal and Winifred Morrow; brother of the late Maurice (late Josephine) Morrow, Audrey (late Carl) Yotter, June (late Joe) Pasieka and John Morrow; brother-in-law of Pat (late John) Morrow and best friend anyone could ever have! A long time welder and boat prop re-builder, he was a man that could never forget the "boys at the marina" or his efforts at the Fab-Lab at Linde Corp., from where he retired. Sonny, a United States Navy WW II veteran, will be forever remembered for his efforts and commitments as a founding and charter member of the Frontiersmen Post 7545 VFW. His past times and hobbies were simple, his TV clicker could always find The Duke or any good "cowboy" movie, he rarely would miss a golf outing with his friends, and some of his best days were spent navigating the canals on his boat with a grandchild on his lap. All of his interests started with his family, as he always welcomed doing nosies with his great-granddaughters and hugs with everyone who held his heart dear. His love extended equally as far as his sense of humor, for he was always one to make you laugh, even in the saddest moments. Family and friends will be present on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at JOHN O. ROTH FUNERAL HOME, INC., 25 William St., City of Tonawanda, where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 30 at 10 AM.
